We believe that a modern desktop operating system should never spy on its users. NeolyxOS does not contain hidden telemetry, behavioral tracking, or advertisement IDs.
When you use the NeolyxOS website, we collect standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) purely to defend against DDOS attacks and ensure operational stability. We do not sell this data.
NeolyxOS natively connects only to update servers to verify system integrity and fetch upstream patches. You have complete control over this via the `ncctl` (Neolyx Control CLI). Your files stored on the NXFS filesystem remain entirely encrypted and inaccessible to us.
If you email us or submit a bug report via the Ketivee feedback channels, your email address and metadata are retained solely for troubleshooting purposes.
